gunshots??

in the part where navi was talking like around the river, i think i heard gunshots and it ttoataly blocked out what navi was saying,
then link came out of nowhere and then i thought ohh those were footseps....that SOUNDED like gunshots....hmmmm lol other than that then it was great animation, but uh..whose that guy with the meat...i dont remeber seeing him in the game...
